🇪🇸  Mis tips para recorrer Auckland en dos días

El centro de Auckland y la costa

Auckland, la ciudad más grande de Nueva Zelanda, está ubicada entre dos grandes puertos y combina modernidad con naturaleza. Comenzá tu recorrido por la avenida principal, Queen Street, llena de tiendas, cafés y movimiento. Desde allí podés caminar hasta la Sky Tower, el edificio más alto de la ciudad, con un mirador espectacular desde donde se ve todo el Viaduct Harbour, lleno de yates, bares y vida urbana.

Luego podés visitar el Auckland Domain, el parque más antiguo de la ciudad, construido sobre un volcán extinto. Dentro del parque se encuentran los Wintergardens o “Jardines de Invierno”, un espacio elegante con plantas exóticas, invernaderos y esculturas.

A la tarde, una excelente opción es visitar la playa de Mission Bay, ideal para descansar, caminar junto al mar o tomar algo en sus terrazas. Es un buen lugar para ver el atardecer y relajarte después de un día de caminata.

Compras, barrios y naturaleza

En tu segundo día podés dedicar la mañana a recorrer los barrios modernos de Auckland. En Britomart y Commercial Bay vas a encontrar tiendas de diseño, moda local y centros comerciales. También hay mercados al aire libre donde se venden productos artesanales y comida típica.

Si querés alejarte un poco del centro, una muy buena opción es hacer una excursión a Waiheke Island, una isla cercana famosa por sus paisajes, playas y viñedos.

Para llegar a Waiheke, tenés que tomar un ferry que sale del puerto de Auckland (desde el terminal de ferris Downtown). El viaje dura unos 40 minutos.

Una vez en la isla, podés recorrerla en ómnibus, ya que existe un pase combinado que incluye el ferry + transporte público en la isla.

A la vuelta, podés cerrar el día en zonas como Wynyard Quarter, City Works Depot o Viaduct Harbour, donde hay ambiente nocturno, terrazas, bares y música en vivo. Auckland tiene una vida nocturna activa y muy variada.

If you want to explore nature, a great option is a trip to Waiheke Island, known for its landscapes, beaches, and vineyards.

To get to Waiheke, take a ferry from Auckland’s main harbor terminal (Downtown Ferry Terminal). The ride takes about 40 minutes.

Once on the island, you can explore it by bus, with a combo ticket that includes both ferry and local transport.

In the evening, return to the city and visit places like Wynyard Quarter, City Works Depot, or Viaduct Harbour, where nightlife, rooftop bars, and live music bring Auckland to life.

Stadtzentrum und Küste

Auckland, die größte Stadt Neuseelands, liegt zwischen zwei großen Häfen und vereint moderne Architektur mit Natur. Starte deinen Tag auf der Queen Street, der Hauptstraße voller Geschäfte, Cafés und Leben. Von dort kannst du zur Sky Tower gehen, dem höchsten Gebäude der Stadt, mit einem großartigen Aussichtspunkt über den Viaduct Harbour mit seinen Yachten, Bars und Restaurants.

Danach besuche den Auckland Domain, den ältesten Park der Stadt, der auf einem erloschenen Vulkan liegt. Besonders sehenswert sind die eleganten Wintergardens mit exotischen Pflanzen und Gewächshäusern.

Am Nachmittag lohnt sich ein Ausflug zum Strand von Mission Bay, ideal zum Spazieren, Entspannen und um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen.

 Einkaufen, Stadtviertel und Natur
